The history of Bifaro International Company s.r.l.

After more than 15 years of experience at Carle & Montanari S.p.A., Mr. Antonio Bifaro founded the company Servco S.p.A. in January 1989. Servco was established with the aim of providing special services and machinery to chocolate manufacturers. In January 1993, Mr. Bifaro joined Vitali S.p.A. (a leading company in cocoa pressing) as a shareholder and Managing Director, and over seven years he increased sales by 600%.


In January 2001 he founded a new company called MTE.Bifaro S.r.l., which later, in 2013, became Bifaro International Co., adopting a new business philosophy. The company specializes in the design and manufacture of cocoa and chocolate machines, based on the idea that ‘new’ does not only mean more electronic applications, but also simple and efficient mechanical solutions. Our strongest market is Latin America, with contracts for new projects with several major players in the cocoa and chocolate industry; however, both new and reconditioned machines have been supplied worldwide.

Our flagship product is a different type of chocolate line. In recent years, in response to market demand, we have specialized in building production lines of various sizes, whether for smarties, molding plants, or small- to medium-scale chocolate production lines. The crushing line and the chocolate drops line with fiberglass cooling tunnel are among our most requested products, together with mills and machines designed to optimize cocoa processing.


Our future plan is to open an overseas office in Ecuador, taking advantage of the dollarized market, in order to provide our customers in South America with full and comprehensive support through our technicians and spare parts. The company will continue to expand thanks to the energy of Mr. Bifaro’s children, who have brought new ideas and momentum. We strive to give our customers exactly what they need, with the highest level of availability and support.
